Working with Me

Throughout our work together I help you experience how the color feels as you live with it in real time

Setting the stage

We start with a conversation, and share ideas that you are drawn to and images of your space as is.

As I listen and see your space, I will have ideas to contribute. I cull an initial palette to start from so that when we meet on site, we are working from a baseline.

Guiding the process

My toolbox includes the full range of Benjamin Moore and Farrow and Ball color systems including large swatches and painted samples.

Working directly together in your space we consider options and dig into the details as we explore and discover what works best.

“Barbara’s sense of color and light, and what is right for a space just can’t be beat. She has a keen intuition about how the flow of the colors will work from space to space, when to take a risk on a color and when to keep things simple.” -Moira Greto

Envisioning your colors

Scaling up with paint is an important part of the process, and allows us to see how the colors are truly reading in your space.

This enables you to really feel the colors and be confident with our selections.

“On our own, choosing colors for the interiors in our new home seemed like an overwhelming chore. With Barbara, it was a pleasurable journey of discovery. Barbara is genuinely concerned that her clients are happy with their results.” — Patricia Harvey
